One younger sister Teuila (9 years old). Mother (Elva) was a professional entertainer and contestant in the Miss Universe Contest. Father (Jack) is Taimane's manager and roady. Grandfather Tauiliili was a Matai (High Chief) in Western Samoa. Two dogs named Boo and Napolian (a pug).

Taimane has been called a child prodigy and won her first ukulele competition at the age of 6 competing against boys double her age. She has won numerous ukulele competitions competing against experienced adult professionals.

Taimane is a featured performer (since age 14) with legendary Don Ho, Waikiki BeachComber Hotel!

She performs regularly for private corporate parties.

She is working on several projects including music recording, touring, fund raisers, modeling, and movie opportunities.
